It is important for us to teach digital literacy because we are the introduction to the technology. Not all students learn how to navigate the computer at home. The classroom teacher (in K-2) and the computer teacher (in 3-5) teach it. The students need to know how to read, search, and manipulate information.

We could teach digital storytelling. We can use podcasts and ipads as well.
3.What does your school do to foster digital literacy? What should your school do?
We just bought ipads for each of the elementary schools. We also have cow labs. We should have an additional digital literacy class.
